It needs to be fun, for sure! What else? a little ironic and cheesy would be nice. But wait. think about street credibility … Ok yeah! Let’s mix Punk and Grillz, make it look digital but stay analogue. That’s the whole point. What is real and what is photoshop? A short stop motion clip that brings it all together. Go! Guess!
the meaning
The thought behind this project was to create an illusion between manual and digital video manipulation techniques. The stop motion video mixes up the prints, textiles and photoshop elements to the point where it’s not entirely sure how the video was created. The rough edges around the different cut outs underline that idea of the selfmade, paper cut out look. Make sure to watch the whole movie with it’s sound design!
